Light and Love Captured on Film by Elza Photographie

It's no secret that film has been going strong in the wedding industry for a while now.  But I've been noticing it more and more in the portrait photography world, which thrills me to no end!

These images by Elza Photographie are SO gorgeous!  And I just love what she has to say about the process of shooting film.

Is film slow?  You bet!  But that doesn't mean you can't use in to photograph babies and families... it just requires a different approach.

From Elza:

"I recently started my journey with film and I'm so deeply in love with the whole artistic process. It totally changed my perspective about my own work.

Film encourages me to really take my time with my subjects, to connect with the present moment and to be more aware of every little detail. That's what I did during this lovely session with Elizabeth and her daughter Effie, and I'm more than in love with every single shot. Not to mention that magical light and those creamy skin tones."
