Kim Tsui Photography Hits One out of the Park

Today Kimberli Moffitt-Tsui of Kim Tsui Photography shares some amazing black and white portraits of her daughter's baseball team.

When I first read baseball in the submission form, I was thinking of the standard color snapshots of typical sports photos we've seen 100 times.  But Kimberli threw me for a loop with these.  The tones of black and white film paired with the crazy beautiful depth-of-field from her Schneider lens drew me in and held me there.

These are insanely gorgeous, Kim, and you have motivated me to bring my film camera to sports events more often.  You have taken the game up a notch with these!

Kim's words:

"One of my favorite subjects to photograph is my children's sport’s teams, especially black and white portraits.  My middle daughter, Ava, played on a traveling tournament softball team this past summer, and we all had a blast.  Not only did she bond with friends, new and old, our families bonded as well.  These are all shot on Fuji Acros with my Rollei SL66 with modified Schneider Cine-Xenon 110mm fixed f/2 lens."
