Hello! Happy Instagram Wednesday! I love today's portraits! They are all so beautiful!
Congrats to you featured photographers, you done good.
Also, next week is the #littlebellows_trashcam part deux. Keep them coming!
Leah's work always makes me stare at it.
In fact, she was one of the very first photographer's I featured here on Little Bellows.
Here images are always original and painterly, this photo is no exception.
This photo reminds me of Andrew Wyeth's painting Christina's World.
GeezLouise makes amazingly honest a classic portraits of her kids.
She was also one of my very first featured photographer's when I started this column long ago.
The catch light in her eyes is perfect and a great example of perfect catch light placement, which should either be at 10 o'clock or 2 o'clock.
Another great illustration of beautiful light and catch lights in the eyes.
The color and contrast in this photograph are gorgeous.
He's a little boy but there's something about this makes me think he's a little man.
I think it's the split lighting, which is dramatic and something you see with adults, especially men's portraits.
This is the sort of sweet portrait that a makes a mother swoon and long to keep her boy a little longer.
The pastel tones here are off the charts beautiful.
From her skin, to her hair, to her hat--it's all one beautiful color palette.
P.S. Big hats, always.
This portrait is so sweet it makes me say Gosh.
This lass has spunk and she also has a great sense of style (mixing stripes and dots is always a great idea).
The back light, byway of the window is soft gives the perfect amount of contrast.
Another gorgeous palette.
P.S. Film (woot!)
