film, this is made of it.
isn't this beautiful?
from the grain to the color, to the composition.
Spring is coming, here's proof.
film, again, ... cause it's king, or queen, either way it rocks.
This is so very pretty and I think this and the spring photo above it are fab together.
I love the simple clean composition and the muted tones.
Reading a fairy tale.
This looks like a painting or a dream from long ago.
The colors are, like those before it, amazing.
I'm on a subdued palette kick today.
This is again lovely window light.
It's mood is sort of voyeuristic because it would seem they don't really know that we see them.
Dear! Give this girl and stage or something to govern, either way, I believe she will do it with grace.
This is such a classic portrait and everything about it is perfect to me.
This reminds me of Where The Wild Things Are, except Max is really Maxine.
The combo of window light highlights and deep dark shadows and then those jewel tones...
By now you know no post by me is complete with out a cat, cause I'm a cat lady.
This is a fairy tale to me, from long ago.
I love that the shadows are not so dark that I can't make out what's behind them.
They are on the precipice of a dark and enchanted forest.
To be a child queen requires grace and a humble nature--I'm on a royalty kick I suppose.
She has just an air of dignity and grace about it.
I love that her color is slightly askew and her necklace is off center.
See that grain?!
Isn't it amazing?!
This is a hilarious and captivating capture.
The tones of the black and white are gorgeous.
