Two years ago, when Little Bellows went live, I had no idea what to expect. I wanted a place that celebrated the art and beauty of family photography as well as those who create it. Well, I’m happy to say that we have achieved that goal!
Since May of 2012 our site has featured over 3,000 photographers, brought on new professionals and segments, gained over 5,000 fans on Facebook and has grown a huge Instagram following with over 14,000 images in the #littlebellows pool!
I can’t help but feel proud!
I am so grateful to our readers and contributors from around the world, as well as the awesome group of ladies who have helped Little Bellows grow, Cat Thrasher, Christina Mallet and Amy Grace.
But now here we are in 2014, and I’m asking myself “what next?”
I think I’ve come up with the answer.
Almost every day, I receive emails from readers asking my advice.
- how to attract clients
- how to form client connections
- how to grow and use an email list
- how to tackle marketing and social media
- how to get work published
All are business questions and given I’ve been in business for 14 years now (yikes!!), I feel I can help answer many of those questions.
So, with that in mind, I’ll be adding a Q&A segment to the blog this year!
Readers can send in any question and I (along with quest contributors) will respond openly and honestly, all while keeping the question asker anonymous.
To submit a question, please put “LB Q&A” in your subject line and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’m so excited!!!
As always, we are looking for exceptional family work to share, so please keep your submissions coming and continue to put #littlebellows on your Instagram photos.
And, if there is ever anything you would like to see or read about on the blog, please let me know! My goal is to continue to grow this amazing community, and I’m always interested in what you have to say.
With that said, here is a collection of some of my favorite photos from 2013
Enjoy, and Happy New Year!
