Hey y'all thanks, your photos moved me, like always, but this week was an especially good week for that because I found out, after nearly 6 weeks of angst-ing, that the Mallet crew will not be moving to Berlin.
It's a relief to have that off my mind and while I was really looking forward to some new eye fodder, I'm okay staying put because life is pretty dang good as is. I do however need some adventure beyond the crazy party that happens in my office on Wednesday nights, when I write this post.
Also, your photos moved me to appreciate the very simple fact that I have eyes that are connected to my brain and that all registers and I can sit here and tell you about it. See, I fell off a rapidly moving horse last week and hit the pazziz out of my head and various other parts of my body. I'm now a helmet public service announcement--I was wearing one. Had I been without, well, let's just say the photogs in today's post would have never experienced the joy of seeing this weeks greatness on the beautiful inter-webs, known as Little Bellows. Yup, I'm pretty sure the only thing keeping me from seeing my own golden hour of light was that helmet, which I almost refused to wear because I'm vain. This is the part where I tell you to wear your helmet. I'm wearing mine and because I'm vain it's tricked out with all sorts of bedazzle, even right now as I write this, that's how serious I am about helmets.
Anyway, I had a nice time tonight thinking about how lucky I am to have the opportunity to cull the beauty from the Little Bellows hash-tag pool. It always makes me feel so,... well... alive. Ya, alive and so thanks for sharing your worlds and giving me some pretty posies to gather in my pocket, also known as this page.
