2012: Year in Review

It may seem a bit silly to run a "year in review" post considering Little Bellows has only been around for seven months, but we have featured so many great photos in those seven months, I couldn't resist!  Here are just a few of my favorites from our first year.  I've linked to the original post on each, so if you missed them the first time around, please take a moment to check them out!! Happy New Year!!!

We were so honored, and so lucky to launch Little Bellows with these amazing portraits by Spanish photographer Monika Manowska.  Gorgeous and timeless, these images remain some of my all time favorites.  I wish I had taken them!

This maternity session by Jill Thomas is so absolutely lovely.  We are so grateful to Jill for sharing her beautiful work with us!

When I first opened this submission from UAE photographer Kirsty Larmour my jaw dropped.  These images are so exotic and so well shot... they make me want to run off to the desert!

Jean Smith's "Chub" photo makes me smile every time I look at it.

This maternity session by Seattle Photographer Andria Lindquist was so amazing, we ran it in two parts.  Gorge!!!

Stacie Turner's Holga work blows my mind!!

We are so fortunate to have the super talented Amy Grace of A Beautiful Life Photo writing for us.  Each and every thing she post is spectacular.  But this post that she wrote after the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy takes my breath away.  I have read it and re-read it about a hundred times, and have a copy of her words saved on my desk top.  Absolutely beautiful!

When Cat and I launched Little Bellows, we made the decision not to feature our own work.  But then Cat posted these amazing Hasselblad portraits to her own blog, and I knew then and there that I was going to have to break the rule.  Each one is spectacular!
